Week 4
EXERCISE
Working with layers.
Adjustment Layers & Filters.
I asked Mr. Fauzi if I could move the elements a little bit and he says that I could but I need to put some extra note of what I moved. I did a little bit positioning to align it better with the composition and also turned everything back before any filters and blurs. I also added a white stroke for the leaf.

DESCRIPTION:
When making this collage I thought of an underwater city on the dress up game that I used to play so I used the blue buildings as background positioned diagonally and the other building clipped mask with the liquid texture with soft light blending mode. The plants are like those aquatic plants and the old projector looks like it sank to the bottom of an ocean. It kind of following the rule of third composition too since the fish position is on the top right square and the bluer fish in the bottom of the rule of third line.
WEEK 4 (ADJUSTMENT LAYERS & FILTERS )

fig.2.4. final digital collage after adjustments and filters (21/10/24) |
DESCRIPTION:
I put blur on the people so the object can be more focused, which is the fish. And then duplicate it for a motion blur. I color a whole layer dark blue and put hard light as blending mode and put the opacity to 12%. I changed some pictures' color balance 5% so it could look blue. Put a blue clipping mask on the white building with soft light blending mode in 50% opacity. On the second fish/the bluer smaller one on the bottom, i reduce the opacity to 75% and adjust the colors for a little bit
