Week 7 - Forming Pair
A brief mention of our final project was brought in class. We're told to pair up for our final project. I partnered up with Aquela Zefanya Soares (0374377).
Week 9 - VFX Tutorial & Ideation
In class, we learnt to edit a VFX video from direct tutorial from Sir Martin using Adobe After Effects.

when I started editing it, me and Aquela agreed to do some parts separately and then later putting it together in my premiere pro file. so there are some footage that are cut whilst waiting for Aquela's part of editing. where she did the Video effects.

after Aquela finished with her part of the video I gathered them together and started color grading them one by one because the story that we're trying to convey here gives of sad vibes, I make the exposure lower and gave it a bluish tint to match the vibes. I ended the editing with adding some text and

Feedback
Reflection
When doing this final project, I honestly felt a mix of excitement and stress. At first, it was fun to team up with Aquela and start planning, but as the project moved forward, I realized how much work actually goes into producing even a short video. There were a lot of steps—from VFX practice to storyboarding, shooting, editing, sound design, and color grading. I think the biggest challenge was figuring out how to tell the story clearly. During consultation, we were told the story felt ambiguous, and that feedback really made us rethink how we were presenting the plot and character relationships. We had to go back and make sure everything made sense and had a purpose, especially the tarot card part and who the main character really was.
During the shoot, we were lucky to finish everything in one day. Editing took most of our time after that. I spent a lot of effort refining sound effects, dubbing, and color grading. There were some frustrating moments, but I did learn a lot—especially how every detail, like audio timing and visual clarity, makes a big difference in the final product. Overall, I’m happy with what we created and proud of how we handled it together.
