Project 2A - Lalin
We're given video clips from senior's work inspired by Lalin. We're asked to trim and insert all the clips into a correct sequence, add text messages graphics, add sound effects, color correct and color grade to transform them into a polished video.
Project 2B - Production Shoot Trailer
We're made into a group to do a production shoot of some clips from the movie "Everything Everywhere All At Once". Each member were assigned different roles and encouraged to collaborate. After, we've shoot the video and audio clips, we edit them into a trailer. We are given the freedom to express our creativity in how we make the plot with supporting texts, sound, and color grading.
after we finished our shooting, we collect the footage that we want to keep with the sound recording and assigned to edit the trailer individually. I search on youtube a fitting sound that I could match the beat to for my trailer and start editing.

for this project I chose to be the director's assistant with Brenda as the main director, as an assistant director we were assigned to help with shot list and scheduling the shot list to make sure we managed too shoot them all on time, we are also given the roles to call out the shot and scene name for each shot that we take and assist the crew on their roles.

I also added sound effect like the alarm voices, flashing camera and other sound. after I'm done with the cutting timing and sounds I started color grading and adding text for the trailers and I'm done.

REFLECTION
Experience
during this project I get to learn a lot like footage timing, framing and color grading which is something not often I would learn about editing. moreover, it is also the first time I get to experience a complete crew shooting of a video project and its something that's very memorable for me and since then I feel like my editing skills have improved compared to before I study this module.
Observation
during this project I notice a lot of details especially when it comes to color grading scenes. I realize that its very important to do color grading and I used to not pay attention to them. and after learning about color grading, I notice a big difference in the quality of results of videos that I made.
Findings
when doing this I found that color correcting plays a great role in storytelling especially by emphasizing the emotion of scenes that are played, how the color is implemented in the scenes would influence how viewer sees them.
