Sketch

at the beginning of the Work of Everlight. When I thought of tether that shows the concept of connection, loyalty and always, what I first thought of is My little pony The elements of harmony loyalty. because it was my favorite childhood cartoon. howe ever I cannot just plainly replicate it so I made it look like its a shaped of a thunder like the shape of the elements itself and to connect them I put infinity as the connector.

Progress

I started digitizing my work with lots of attempts with tons of revisions starting from the positioning of the lightning to the necklace size and gem size as well.

Competition Design Documentation

at first I forgot to pay attention to the rules where it says that it must have the same size as the gems provided in the guide book id I had known I wouldnt have make the gems small and gradually shrink for the lightning part. hence I changed them into one pear shaped gem instead with the smallest size from the guidebook

then I put it into a necklace dummy to pair it with a chain I redraw the dummy later on for a better presentation.

Then because we need a pair of items or more, I decided to make it an necklace and ring set where the ring would look like infinity from the front display but normal when worn. I shares the same characteristics of the necklace but slightly bigger. however because I'm clueless on how I could draw them I learned blender by myself and make the design without that much of guide. although I do see the progress of making some  rings and ended up with these work
