EXPERIENCE

Throughout this module, I Learned a lot about Video and Sound Production software that people mostly used through out their influencer career. I found it amusing and very enjoyable to be able to explore and edits Videos and Sound because I used to feel like it something that I'm not really good at. Especially when I used to be a wannabe YouTuber. although thats not what I want anymore, I still have a dream of making the stories that I wrote come to life. although its not my main target in this design study, I still find it fun that I get to be in a part of it which is editing the videos and sound, even getting into a production crew.

OBSERVATIONS

I noticed that When learning this module, I sometimes would ignore the smallest details and my friends would help me pointed them out. I learned more about how there are different shots and color scheme that could actually affect the scenes atmosphere.

FINDINGS

I found that editing videos and sound is actually something deeply connected to emotional storytelling. The way a scene is cut, the timing of transitions, or even the background music can completely change how the audience feels. For example, slow cuts paired with soft music can make a scene feel nostalgic or emotional, while quick cuts and energetic sound effects can create excitement or tension.

Through practice, I realized that editing is not just a technical skill—it’s a creative process that shapes the mood and message of the video. Even the smallest sound cue or color grade can influence the audience’s perception. This made me more aware of the importance of timing, pacing, and overall visual rhythm in telling a compelling story
